Article Withdrawal Policy
Introduction
At GPH-International Journal of Social Science and Humanities Research, we are committed to maintaining high ethical standards in academic publishing. Authors are expected to submit articles responsibly and with the full intention of completing the publication process. However, in certain exceptional circumstances, authors may request the withdrawal of their article.
Acceptable Reasons for Withdrawal
Authors may request withdrawal under the following conditions:
- Errors in submission, such as submitting the article to the wrong journal.
- Multiple submissions of the same article to different journals.
- Significant errors, inaccurate data, or methodological flaws that invalidate the research.
- Authorship disputes related to unauthorized additions or removals of authors.
- Ethical concerns such as plagiarism, falsification of data, or other research misconduct.
- Violation of funding agency requirements or institutional research ethics.
Withdrawal Request Procedure
To request article withdrawal, the corresponding author must submit a written request via email to the Editor-in-Chief at:

The withdrawal request must include:
- Manuscript ID and Title

Withdrawal Charges
To prevent misuse of the withdrawal process, the following withdrawal charges apply:
- Before peer review: No charge.
- After peer review but before acceptance: A processing fee of $50 USD applies.
- After acceptance: A withdrawal fee of $100 USD applies.
- After publication: The article cannot be withdrawn and will be formally retracted instead.
Unauthorized Withdrawal
If an author withdraws an article without formal approval, the following actions will be taken:
- The author may be blacklisted from future submissions.
- The author’s institution may be informed of unethical behavior.
Retraction Policy
If an article is found to have serious ethical violations, data fabrication, or plagiarism after publication, the journal reserves the right to formally retract the paper and notify indexing databases.
Final Decision
The Editor-in-Chief's decision is final regarding article withdrawal requests. Authors are encouraged to carefully review submission guidelines before submitting their work.
