Les sources socio-économiques de l’inégalité des chances en matière de santé et de nutrition des enfants en Tunisie

Abstract

Cette étude vise à examiner les facteurs d'inégalité des chances en matière de santé chez les enfants de moins de 5 ans en Tunisie, à l'aide de l'enquête tunisienne à indicateurs multiples MICS 2018. Elle étudie la variation des inégalités entre les régions, en décomposant les inégalités en une partie due à l’inégalité des chances et une partie due à d’autres facteurs, tels que les variations aléatoires de la santé. Les résultats révèlent également que la part des circonstances dans l’inégalité des chances en matière de santé des enfants varie considérablement selon la région. Plus précisément, la situation géographique, l’éducation des parents et la richesse des parents s’avèrent être les principaux facteurs contribuant à l’inégalité des chances en matière de santé des enfants.
